How much does an equine shoot cost?
Depending on what package you choose it will range from $250.00-$1,250.00. Please navigate to pricing to see more details.
When Should I book?
I book 1+ MONTHS in advance.
Horse & Rider and Canine Sessions are booked during the best lighting of the day; just after sunrise and before sunset.
Equine Portraits can be done at any time of day as long as there is a fully shaded area or doorway to work in.
I try very hard to accommodate any immediate needs and bookings so please don't hesitate to reach out if you need to book a last minute shoot!
Do you Travel?
YES! I am located just outside Chattanooga Tennessee but I travel to wherever you are!
The first hour of travel is complimentary and any time after that is $40/hour.
What if it rains?
I will reach out within 12-24 hours before your photoshoot if the weather looks poor.
Alternative dates will be provided at no extra cost and scheduled within a 2 week time period.
How and when to pay
A non refundable 25% retainer is due upon booking to secure your date/time in my schedule. This amount goes towards your total investment. The remainder is due in full 72 hours before your photoshoot.
Payment plans are available leading up to your session, upon request. Offered in bi-weekly or monthly payments.
Do you offer barn discounts?
Yes! Barn discounts are available for bookings when 3 of more clients book for the same date and location. Travel fees will be equally divided amongst those who book for the same date and location.
Due to travel expenses, barn discounts are only available to clients who book within a 2 hour radius of Chattanooga Tennessee
Can I post these on social media?
Absolutely, with credit to Stirrups and Styles Photography.
These images are not allowed to be entered into contests, or for any sort of publication uses. Please refer back to your contract for further information.
How are my photos delivered?
Your private online gallery will be delivered via email 2-3 weeks after your session. But between your session and receiving your full gallery, sneak peeks will be shown on social media through Instagram and Facebook.
Where can I order prints or fine art?
Prints of all sizes and styles can be ordered through your online gallery.
Prints ordered through Stirrups and Styles Photography will not have a digital logo.
Can I upgrade my package to receive more images?
Yes! If everything goes to plan, your gallery will include MORE retouched images than your original investment promised. This allows you, as the client, to either pick and choose your favorites, OR upgrade you collection to receive more digital images.
Can I buy photos without your logo?
Yes! All low res digital images included in your package do come with a small logo.
Watermark/logo free high resolution images are available for purchase, and include full printing rights.
I want my horse photographed without tack. Is that possible?
Yes, I have a thin halter we can use to keep your horse safe while photographing. It will removed in post production, giving you those natural photos you dream of!
Can I have my horse and dog photographed together?
YES! Horse and Rider Sessions can be split between photographing you, your horse, and your dog; in both group and individual photos against the natural backgrounds your farm has to offer.
Due to the intense and long hours it takes to edit Equine Portraits (black backgrounds), an additional fee will be added to have your horse and dog photographed together.
What is the set up like for Equine Portraits (black backgrond)
These sessions require a fully shaded doorway wide enough for your horse to stand and turn around in. A barn isle with a hard floor is preferred, but an arena doorway or an open garage door will work! I do ask that the arena and barn isle way is cleaned up, lights turned off, and any additional doors be closed!
