Preserve the story you've built with your dog with artwork that lasts a lifetime

Our dogs won't be with us forever. But together, we can preserve the moments you share today as memories you'll cherish for a lifetime and create heirlooms that can be passed down for generations.

Take the time to celebrate the animal who shaped your life, and became part of your story. Because one day, these portraits won't just remind you of how they looked they'll remind you of how they made you feel.

Perfection Isn't Neccessary

Are you worried your dog won't behave for their session?

Your dog doesn't have to sit perfectly or know every command to have beautiful portraits. Every session is relaxed, patient, and designed around your dog's personality. Whether they're full of energy, more interested in exploring, or happiest simply staying close to you, I'll work at their pace to create images that feel genuine. For their safety, dogs remain on leash throughout the session, and the leash is carefully removed during editing.

If you'd like to be in the portraits too but feel a little nervous in front of the camera, you're not alone. My sessions are all about real moments and the connection you share with your dog—not stiff poses or forced smiles. Simply spend time together the way you always do, and I'll take care of capturing the moments you'll want to remember forever.

Let's Connect!

The start of every good relationship starts with connection! We'll schedule a zoom or phone call where we'll talk about your dog, their personality, what makes them special to you, and what kinds of images you want to achieve. We will create a structured plan for the session that is centered around incredible custom artwork for your home, office, kennel, barn or wherever you choose to display your memories. Your Favorite Photos Turned into Stunning Artwork for Your Home

Every portrait begins with a single moment. Through careful editing, attention to detail, and professional craftsmanship, that moment is transformed into a finished work of art. What starts as a photograph becomes a piece you'll see and enjoy every day—a lasting reminder of the horse or dog that means so much to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you photograph my senior photos too?

110%. I love doing senior photos....especially with dogs!! I was raised with LOTS of dogs and having photos and artwork with them is the BEST!

Can I be included? What about my family?

Yes! All humans from your household can be included in your session too!

My dog is a senior and we don't know how much longer we'll have them

I'm so sorry. Our dogs are some of our best buddies. I will do everything I can to fit you into my schedule as soon as possible.

How does the process work?

1) Reach out and book
2) Plan your session
3) Take the photos
4) Choose your favorite artwork
5) Display the artwork and never forget this season

Can my horse be included too?

YUP! I'd love that!

Do you travel to other locations?

YES! Locations within a 1 hour radius of Chickamauga GA have no travel fee, however I would love to accommodate your session anywhere in the US. Travel fees are based off of location and the goal of the session. Please inquire for a custom quote.

My dog is young, nervous, or high energy

That's never a problem! I love to work with all kinds of temperaments! I recommend lots of exercise during the week leading up to your session, and particularly the evening before/day of the session to help your dog work off any extra bottled up energy. If you plan to exercise your dog the day of the session make sure to do so with plenty of time for them to settle so that all of our images don't have their tongue hanging out!

Can I be in the photos with my dog?

110%! Each session is customized to you, the relationship you have with your dog, and the artwork you want to have displayed in your home!

Where do these sessions take place?

Sessions typically happen at your favorite outdoor location!

How long will my session last?

That's dependent on each individual session and the images you want to achieve. The goal is to create a relaxed and fun experience for you and your dog. With that in mind most sessions last between 45-90 minutes. Some dogs need more time than others so I love to schedule in extra buffer time!

What's this artwork you keep mentioning?

When you hear the words wall art, you might picture a large framed portrait hanging above the fireplace. While that's certainly one option, it's far from the only one.

Your portraits can become so much more than something displayed on a wall. Whether you envision a statement piece in your entryway, a collection of framed prints lining the hallway, a beautiful album on your coffee table, or a favorite portrait displayed on your desk, there's a way to enjoy your images that fits both your home and your style.

Some clients fall in love with large metal, canvas, or acrylic pieces that become the focal point of a room. Others prefer smaller framed portraits, a keepsake box filled with fine art prints they can rotate throughout their home, or a handcrafted heirloom album that tells the story of their session from beginning to end.

There isn't a one-size-fits-all approach—and that's exactly the point. During your design appointment, I'll help you choose the pieces that best fit your home, your lifestyle, and the memories you want to enjoy every day.

What if I just want digital files?

Digital files are certainly an option! However Stirrups and Styles Photography specializes in an artwork-focused experience. My goal is to help create custom artwork that you can physically display in your home, rather than adding more digital images to your phone gallery.

Digital images are absolutely available, but there's something special about seeing your favorite portrait displayed in your home instead of tucked away on a hard drive or phone. Most of my clients find that their artwork quickly becomes one of their most treasured possessions because they get to enjoy it every single day.

As an added bonus, every piece of artwork includes the matching high-resolution digital image at no additional charge, along with a limited personal print release that allows you to create prints up to 11×14" through the lab of your choice.

How much is all of this going to cost?

That's up to you! Every client falls in love with their images differently, choosing artwork that fits their space and feels most meaningful to them!

Every portrait experience begins with a $195 session fee, which reserves your date and includes your pre-session consultation, portrait session, professional editing, and a private design and ordering appointment where we'll select your favorite images and create artwork you'll enjoy for years to come.

From there, you'll simply choose the collection and artwork that speaks to you. Some clients fall in love with a few meaningful pieces, while others choose to create a complete collection that tells the full story of their session.

A la carte' options begin at $250, with most clients investing between $1,500–$2,500 depending on the artwork and collection they choose.

During your design appointment, I'll guide you through every option, answer your questions, and help you choose pieces that fit beautifully within your home and become a lasting reminder of the bond you share with your horse.

What if I need to reschedule?

I monitor the weather closely as we approach your session! If the weather looks like it doesn't want to cooperate, you fall ill, or an emergency arises, we'll simply move your session to another day!
